Kaminario, the leading all-flash array provider for mid-range enterprises, today announced its selection as the “Most Innovative Flash Memory Technology” at the Flash Memory Summit’s annual Best of Show awards, which recognizes the most significant storage and flash technologies that are spearheading innovation within the industry. The fifth generation of Kaminario K2 beat out nearly 30 other companies in the most competitive award “system” category, for its ability to address modern enterprise storage pain points, including scalability, flexibility and cost, at an average price point of $2/GB usable that rivals HDD solutions and all other all-flash array providers.

The judges of the Flash Memory Summit Awards faced the challenge of selecting the Best of Show Innovation winner from an incredibly large and qualified pool of applicants in the category, including a number of leading all-flash array providers. Kaminario K2 was selected as it offers new levels of data availability, performance and an unprecedented scale-up and scale-out architecture that sets the standard for other storage solutions in the future.
